We’ve found that, in terms of ABA Therapy, too often, clinicians are unaware of, insensitive to, or even outright dismiss the individual’s home culture. That’s the opposite of how we operate at Asteri. Here, we specifically hire experienced, culturally-aware clinicians. Beyond their expertise in traditional ABA therapies, they’re also sensitive to the culture in the child’s home, their values.
That includes any number of factors, from the family’s values to the language spoken at home, the traditions they uphold, and so much more. It is one more way that we can provide a more
specific service for an individual as well as their family.
